GALERIE VAV GALLERY

ABOUT

The VAV (Visual Arts Visuels) Gallery is a student-run exhibition space dedicated to presenting the work of undergraduate students in Concordia University's Faculty of Fine Arts. Since its establishment, the gallery has provided students with the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional gallery setting and engage with the broader public.

The gallery's programming is developed annually by a team of undergraduate coordinators serving one-year terms. This rotating leadership model allows students to oversee the gallery's programming while gaining experience in its day-to-day operations.

Today, the VAV Gallery continues to support undergraduate students and emerging artists by providing a space to present their work and further develop their artistic practices.

TERRITORIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The VAV Gallery is situated on the unceded ancestral lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation, who are recognized as the traditional custodians of Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). We acknowledge their enduring relationship to this land and honour their past, present, and future stewardship.
